Camp sites are nice. Views driving in are awesome. Loop C has the views but those sites go quick. Firewood cost $9. Camp hosts are very nice. Most of the bathrooms don't work so you may have to walk further to a working bathroom unless you are willing to use a porta potty. The showers are free but old. Bathrooms needs to be cleaned and stocked more often. There is drinking water. I would have given it 5 stars but the bathrooms really need to be fixed or re-done. The swim lake is a 15 minute drive.. but it's worth it and very nice (*only porta potty here and no hand washing sink or running water). Lots of wineries close by.

This is a great campground within 2hrs of the city and the drive in is beautiful. We stayed in a loop with construction and no water but it was well maintained and temp toilets were clean. Some sites have steeper grades and don’t have room …

Lovely campground in the middle of 400 wineries. Very quiet. No hook ups or cell service, but hot showers and flush toilets. The nearby town of Cloverdale has the best root beer float I've had since A&W root beer barrel drive ins!

The views were spectacular. However the bathrooms were locked up tight due to plumbing issues. It would have been nice to have running water.

Yes! Call The Ranch at Lake Sonoma, or the visitor's center.
I'd recommend calling the visitor center. They should have the current status of everything.
Yes
Hello, I camped there on May 18/19 this year and all bathrooms were open (flushing toilets & showers)
We needed to phone the hosts once we arrived. Service is very spotty so I suggest calling ahead.
Its by reservation only I believe, and accessed via gate code (several weeks ago). The consistancy of a booth attendant or "open hours" was not clear to us.
It was at the top and bottom of our reservation email.
There is partial shade, meaning there are trees around the campsite, mainly peripheral, where one can pitch tents under, but majority of whole area is cleared (making way for RVs). There are picnic tables under permanent canopy structures so these provide covered areas.
There is plenty of space and sites to accommodate larger RVs. Happy camping!
There are hookups for campers/RVs.
