The lights turn from from yellow to red in a split second. Instead people slow down they sped up at yelloe light. How the engineer street lights came up with a one second from yellow to red is mind-blowing. Yellow lights should stay on for 5 second. That's how time people needs to prepare a stop. Everytime light turns yellow instantly people's mind sped up. No wonder they have so many accident.. The engineer street light has no whatsoever what most people have that's is "common sense "

Takes years for this city to fix a problem. When they should have put cameras, more light, and beeping sound at intersections such as Senter Rd & Tully Rd, King Rd & Tully Rd, Capitol expway & Tully Road, Story Rd & Capitol Expwy, Copperfield & capitol expway, senter rd & Capitol expressway, etc.. When they should have done years ago. Now they just starting it.

My very first position as a temp employee at City Hall was issuing business licenses at 1st floor counter #'s 1 & 2. You probably 1st want to visit the County of Santa Clara office at 70 West Hedding where one signs up to register a fictitious business name, to transfer the ownership to your name. You may need to show them your husband's death certificate, your driver's license and possibly your original Social Security card. Then stop by SJ City Hall at 200 E. Santa Clara St., 1st floor of the Tower Building, counter #1 or #2 to get the business license transferred to your name. Bring the same ID docs.They actually don't use the term business license, but instead call it a Business Tax Certificate. For starting a new business there's a requirement to post the fictitious business name in a local newspaper for 3 consecutive weeks. When I assisted my son in starting his business, back in 2007, we found the Campbell Express newspaper to be the cheapest method to meet this requirement. Ron
