Hmmm. Mixed feelings. The sausage and biscuit was delicious, but the two different coffees we ordered tasted very off, and we are avid coffee drinkers, so I don’t think it was just a preference thing. Nice location, but I’m not sure I would go back.

Stopped here for coffee on a Saturday morning. Cute atmosphere - definitely hang out place for college kids. The service was fast and the coffee is pretty good. Good place to stop when on the square.

I’m a barista at a different small coffee shop, so I’m basing this review on my experience. The baristas here know what they’re doing, and have great execution. The espresso is slightly more bitter than I would normally like, but it’s still quality coffee. Basically, coffee is well-done, if a little bitter, atmosphere is super cozy, and the baristas obviously know what they’re doing. I would recommend going here to anyone who is a fan of coffee. It’s absolutely leagues above Starbucks on the plain coffee front.

Lovely lovely atmosphere! The employees are kind and generous. The beverage selection varies! I especially love their teas. Uptown is a great place to study, read, or enjoy your coffee and bagel with loved ones. Also a great spot for a first date just so happens ✨ The playlists are spot on. As far as Covid regulations, the only seating allowed is outdoor seating at the moment. Masks are required indoors at all times. Once they reopen fully to the public in all ways, I highly highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a homey environment to work, study or just be in.

High Point used to be Uptown when it first opened (early 2000s). Probably still in their data base history.
Wait what's uptown?
