Worst Pharmacy experience I’ve ever had. As a student at Ole Miss, you could not pick a slower, less efficient pharmacy to pick up prescriptions. I have never had any easy time here in all 4 years that I have lived in Oxford. Every time I go to pick up a prescription I have waited over 45 minutes just to get through the drive thru line and the times I’ve made the mistake of going inside have been even worse. Not only do they not distinguish between Vaccine lines and prescription pick up lines, but they also never have my prescription ready. I have literally received texts telling me that my prescription is ready for pick up, only to drive all the way there and it not be ready. On numerous accounts they have still not had my prescription ready when I have gone to pick it up, even days after the prescription was sent. Today they told me that they had not received my prescription even though my doctors office confirmed that it was sent and excepted an hour prior to that. I wasn’t able to pick up my medication at all because I have class and work and I was unable to make a 3rd trip after they told me they didn’t have it the first 2 times. Go to CVS… Or better yet ANY other pharmacy in Oxford. They are grossly understaffed and of no help at all. No urgency and working people don’t have time to wait hours on medication. Over it!

We have used this pharmacy since this store opened. We, in the past, loved the pharmacists who were cheerful, knowledgeable and organized. We knew their names and they knew ours. Unfortunately, they have both retired and the place is in shambles. (warning this is long). We get messages from Walgreens saying our prescriptions are ready, go to pick them up and they are unfound. There are baskets of filled prescriptions on shelves(supposedly alphabetically arranged). There are baskets of filled prescriptions on the floor, there are stacks and stacks of filled prescriptions on other shelves with no markings. Finally, there are two baskets at the end of the pharmacists workbench. You make a request for your prescription and the clerk starts to look. Sometimes they find it on the first try. They usually must look in all four places and often they do not find it and someone must come and help them. THEY DO NOT CARE, they shuffle across the floor, not giving a care. Somehow you need to incentivize these seemingly lazy people who half do everything If they are techs then you need to call the school from which you hire them and complain about their attitude. I taught at a University for 27 years and these people's attitudes would not have survived in our school. Shame, shame, shame. Today, I had an unusual situation, I am about to leave on a 47 day trip. I had meds that would run out while I was traveling, I spent yesterday at the Doctor's getting it all worked out. I asked to speak to a pharmacist, I was left standing waiting (no courteous "just a minute I will get her" or any kind of common curtesy, the helper just turned and left and left me standing). The pharmacist finally came, looked at me and said "WHAT DO YOU WANT". I replied "For you not to be rude". She collected herself and we tried to make it go. She made no effort to make the pills be billed to my insurance or to develop a travel plan as the old pharmacist would have. She begrudgingly filled them and declared that she did not even have a record of one of them. I had to drive out to the cardiologist and get a paper copy for her to fill. The cardiologists said they had sent it twice. So, I was involved with this sloppy, uncaring, messy place for THREE hours and still had to come back for one more prescription. I spoke to the manager, Will, who was very nice. He acknowledged that it was all a mess but he seemed unable to solve the problem. First, hire a high school kid to sort and place on shelves, not the floor, the many prescriptions so that the techs can find them and then work on attitudes and appearance. Finally, none of the dispensers had hand cleaner in them... When we return from this trip, we will change pharmacies.

Zero stars, if I could - - Very poor management in the pharmacy department: I ordered online and paid for a RX and a couple of bottles of supplements of which could only be picked-up through the pharmacy drive-through. The order was placed on Sunday, which I received a text that I had 48 hours to pick it up or the order I paid for would be canceled. After going on Monday they were closed for Labor Day (understandable). I went on Tuesday with about 15 cars waiting in line that were not moving. I received another text stating that I had 24 hours to pick up my order or it would be cancelled. I went back at 7 PM, and the drive-through was still a long wait. I went inside the store (which was not my intention when ordering online) and the pharmacy wait line was backed-up with about 15 people standing. After calling the pharmacy and being placed on hold for 36 minutes to ask if I would be refunded for the order that I could not pick-up, I was told by an associate that Walgreens was COvid testing through the drive-through and suggested that I get up early in the morning and wait in the parking lot because the pharmacy is slammed, and they don't want potential infected people i n the store. That is all well and good, except, I still needed my paid for Rx, and I am a paying customer, of which some of those in the drive thru may or may not be. I understand this is a pandemic. What I don't understand is why someone cannot accommodate a customer who has already paid for items that are about to be cancelled by their automated system. Has the corporate business world gone insane? Is problem solving and brains not on the management application list? As a result, I've had to move all my medications to Kroger Pharmacy where I have a snowball's chance in Hades to get to them. Try calling the corporate office. It's the same song, second verse. Don't plan on getting a refill there unless you have a sleeping bag, a tent, and plenty of reading materials.

I took my prescription to Walgreens at 3:30 and they told me they would be ready by 5PM. I went to pick them up at 5 and they said it had still not been filled and to give them 30 more minutes. I went back home and had my friend pick them up for me an hour later and they still were not done, they told her to wait 30 more minutes... when she finally "recieved" my medication it was not even for the right person, as they had given me someone else's perscriptions... so they had to be given back and have my prescription filled yet again... I finally got my medication but there was further complications with the prescription... the older lady with the white hair got incredibly rude with me and told me no one makes the medication that I need anymore... which was a false information as my younger sister just had that same medication filled at G & M pharmacy 2 days prior. I was more concerned though, with the fact that the nice gentleman was checking me out and this lady went out of her way to hang up the phone and come be rude to me (she had also gotten rude with me on the phone) but the situation was already being handled. I will absolutely not be back to this location in the future.

Have Walmart call the pharmacy and request a transfer.
Would need clarification. Delivery in pharmacy or front end grocery? Walgreens does regular deliveries to elderly homes, but no more than that at the point in time, and if delivery of food there is no system setup for that at this moment, but it’s in discussion for future possible implementation, but it’s only an idea at the moment.
Similasan is a brand sold at Walgreens that has a pink eye brand. I would recommend looking at reviews for possible purchase as I have never used the product.
