Reverse mortgage loans allow homeowners to convert their home equity into cash payments or a line of credit with no monthly mortgage payments. Any interest is simply added to the amount due and payable when the loan is paid out or the home is sold.
A mortgage is a loan secured against a property. In the event of a loan default, the lender has the right to foreclose on the property and sell it to recover the loan amount.
Hi Jeri. We don't have a lender for that type of property but I do know that First Interstate Bank does and they have several locations in Oregon for you to reach out and talk to them about it. Also, 21st Century Mortgage, google them, they can also do it but they are back East and would be my personal 2nd choice to 1st IB, which is more local to you.
