This is a Thousand Trails Park. Site 414 Had No cell coverage for our Verizon phones. After a drive through the park we found Cell coverage only works in lower part of the park. Our Site was not level at all. We carry a lot of leveling blocks and are not even close to level still nose down with 4 2x8s and Jack at max extension. Side to side level took one board under left side. We Had to get more lumber in town to level travel the trailer from front to rear. The campground Rules state no scooters yet we saw them all day long⦠Everyone must wear helmet on bikes ect yet no one does and no one is making sure people follow rules. We had a Great breeze every evening starting around 4pm that lasted a couple hours. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The pool looked really nice and was quite busy our entire stay. The setting of this camp ground is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again.

We have camped here for years. It saddens me that a place with such fantastic potential is so mismanaged. We just completed our third stay this summer. After our first and second stay I wrote a lengthy and specific letter to the management calling out the cafe closure, lodge closure, store closure and lack of kid activities with nothing indicating closures on the website. The pool was closed for a day due to lack of maintenance in July, I am SUPER disappointed that they have discontinued the weekly common s'mores campfire. They seem to REALLY struggle to hire and keep staff, they didn't have an activities director for our June visit, they had a delightful activities director in July and no activities again in August...Thousand Trails, where's the value? Management was kind and did call me after I contacted them - but respectfully, saying the general store and cafe are contracted out is no excuse for not identifying the closures on the website.

As far as the weather goes, normally I would say the low 60s, this past year there was a lot of rain. It's typical mountain weather. I can't tell you for sure if Direct TV works up there since I don't have it. I can tell you that we were able to use our Jetpack and get internet to view Netflix and Amazon Prime, if that helps answer your question a bit. I do know you will love it up there!
Wonder VIEW spots in 800 & 900 site numbers. Really peaceful too, very very little noise. Water and electricity as well.
If you have a reservation you are guaranteed a site. But the Idyllwild location has a small amount of sewer sites.
I didn't know this ahead of arrival. Be nice if it was printed so one might be better prepared

Yes, as Charlotte explained, quite hours are from 11pm to 7am. But respectfully playing your music at a low level, shouldn't be a problem.
It all depends upon how you booked. It also depends upon if you have a membership. And if so, what package
No it doesnt. Most Campground Resorts do not.
Year round
They have full hookups, tent sites, pull thru's. Plus a whole lot of amenities!
I believe they do have annual sites available. You would just have to give them a call. And they do also have storage there as well.
Yup catfish. Not really a lake it's like a really little pond.
You need a day permit for fishing.. ( cat fish, trout fish ) the horse ride it's provided only in thousand trail cramping.. i suggest to schedule appointment for it ..you don't need it just to be sure ..
