I had excellent customer service! They had everything I needed, but this was the first time I've ever spent a long time in a Walgreens line. There were some customer service disputes with two customers right before me. This took a long time for a drug store line. It would have been great if a manager could have came up and took them to the side, that would have helped especially for this time of day. Get Home Rush Hour! As I couldn't help but listen, the one cashier apologized to the one customer multiple and many times and there was no need. Once or twice would have been good enough. The complain was from something that happened a day ago, and it wasn't even that cashiers fault.

There is a clearly stated mask mandate for this store. It is posted all over the store. Every single time I come in to this location there is at least two people not wearing masks at all or they have them pulled down around their necks. Upon bringing this up to the employee and the manager they didn’t seem to care. Too bad. The company has mandated a mask policy for the safety of everyone around. They should deal with it and enforce it or find another job. I’ve lost family to this disease due to the ignorant backwoods hillbillies that refuse to acknowledge science. I will not be coming back to this location. I’ll go to a drug store that actually enforces their mask policy (as common sense would dictate). This is not only unsafe it is also disrespectful to literally everyone else around. Thanks, but no thanks.

Every time I think this place can't get worse, it does. I had a prescription to fill so I called to make sure they had the exact dosage in stock. The pharmacist checked, and confirmed they did. So I dropped off my prescription about 10 minutes later and they said it will be ready in 15 minutes. Two hours later I came back to pick up the prescription and she said it hasn't been entered yet and that I will have to wait. I explained to her I dropped it off two hours ago and was told 15 minutes at that time. She then proceeded to tell me that they didn't even have the medication in stock when I dropped it off, even though the pharmacist had confirmed that they did. This place is a joke.... consistently. Whoever manages these people needs some training. West End Walgreens is always on time, accurate and friendly. I'll drive the extra mile to go there.

I have given this pharmacy chance after chance due to its proximity to my home, but my experiences continue to be disastrous so I'm finally done. The one good experience ive had at this location was on a weekend when a substitute pharmacist was in. This pharmacist didn't seem to want to make it as difficult as possible for me to get my prescription filled, which was an extremely pleasant surprise. On top of the constant struggle I have with them understanding that I have a life and my life may not match up perfectly with the refill date every month, this location also happens to be the slowest I've ever been to. Not only do I spend double the time sitting in line here than anywhere else, but when compared to the Franklin location on 96, which I occasionally use in order to keep my sanity, 8th Ave is consistently at least double the wait time for my prescription. I would advise avoiding this place at all costs.
