I would like to thank Max Global Appliance Repair for the excellent job they did repairing my freezer. The technicians were prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous. Would recommend to a friend.

My washing machine was making strange sounds. If I had waited a few days longer, the situation would have been much worse. This is what the technician explained, along with other technical details that I cannot remember. Thank you for saving my washing machine.

I loved working with Max Global Appliance Repair. My oven broke down and they were able to schedule me in right away. They were very honest and fair and personable. The only company I’ll call for any future appliance repairs.

I had Arthur out to repair an ice maker on a whirlpool refrigerator. Pros: Professional appearance Quick response time to phone request On time to appointment (actually a bit early) Cons: WAAYYYY Overpriced: The service for the diagnosis call was $50 (fair enough, I don't want to waste anyones time) He was at my house just under 15 minutes and let me know that the ice maker could not be repaired but would need to be replaced completely. He quoted me 169 for the part. I had expected his mark up to be about 2X retail, but a quick google after he left search turns out this is about 3.5X what I could have bought it myself for. He then quoted me $219 for labor, but gave me a $30 discount, so total labor cost came to $189. I agreed and assumed the work would be about 1.5-2 hours (I expect a repairman to make about $100/hr fair wage) He returned a week later (he said it would only be 2 days and did not call to let me know it would take longer) and entered my house at 10:19 AM and finished his repair by 10:32. 12 minutes of labor cost me $189. That's $945/hour!!!!! I asked him if this was a typical labor charge, and he assured me it was. I paid him what was due as I had agreed to the quote he gave, but let him know that I was disappointed in his quoted labor costs when he knew it only took about 10 minutes to swap out an ice maker (it's just removing several screws and reattaching the water line) His office is located about 5 minutes from my house, so even if you assume 10 minutes of drive time it's still over $400/hr labor plus 3.5X cost for the part. I'm all for fair pay, but this one was just over the top.
