Date: Spring 2022 Note: Free to visit but accepts donations for support. Drove out of the way from Honeycomb Campground to Cheaha State Park to visit this place and I'm glad I did. It's a small place with a bit of a hike to the falls. But well worth it. There were some creepy looking old play structures but it just make the hike interesting. Didn't swim so I can't review on that, but I would recommend visiting either way.

Fun little destination in the middle of nowhere. Little bit of a steep incline up and down the road but otherwise it is beautiful and worth seeing. Completely free only thing it'll cost you is your time driving through some of the most beautiful country side.

We stopped at High Falls on a whim over the weekend while camping at Buck’s Pocket State park and it was such a lovely gem. It has to be one of the most beautiful waterfalls I’ve ever seen. The staff in the office was super friendly and I appreciate that the path to the falls is paved so it’s accessible for wheelchairs/strollers. I definitely recommend stopping here, it was a lovely way to spend a few hours on a Saturday.

Beautiful area to spend quality time outdoors. Unique rock formations and crystal clear water are a wonder to sit and ponder and get lost in thought. Trails in the park are well worn and offer good hiking. Definitely worth stopping by for a visit. Neat venue for community gatherings or ceremonies on the falls rocks (when water levels allow). Be sure to leave a donation as there is no entry fee.

From the parking down to the Falls is a short but kind of steep walk..Best guess from me is app.400 ft. Well worth the effort.
From the parking lot maybe if you walk really slow (kids and ederly) 10 minutes top maybe 15 if you walk across the bridge.
If you have a handicap tag or hanger, they will let you drive down there. They now have a handicap parking area.
Water will run year round. Unless we have a very very dry year.
