Nice county park. Had more than enough paths to hike on. If you only wanted to see the falls, there is a parking lot right there. Otherwise, the rest of the parking involves a hike to them. Keep in mind, the parking lot near the falls is much smaller than the other ones.

Pretty nice park with some nice trails. Too bad the river area has litter all over. Wish the trails were better marked at some spots also.

Took a small homeschool group on a nature walk. A stunning park in Greenville County with beautiful scenery and history on the Reedy River. Some paved paths and hard packed paths. Kiosk with the Cherokee history explained along with the dam and mill on the site. A little gem Park tucked away from the larger crowds. Picnic Area and large playground for the kids.

My husband and I decided to do a quick trip to Cedar Falls Park, since the morning was too cold to go where we had previously planned. Are we glad we did! The river flowing over the rocks is just magnificent, and the water flowing through the dam ducts is a unique sight! We walked a portion of the trail, then doubled back to photograph what we had earmarked. There weren't that many people, which made for getting some good shots of the falls. Will be going back soon!

There is a paved path around the playground field, and through the woods to the river.

How common are snakes here? Has anybody seen any this year? If you have, what kind? Snakes are a good thing, any info is welcome. Thanks

None this year. Saw a small immature watersnake last year. Felt bad for it having to survive in that polluted water. Seems I see fewer and fewer snakes as the years pass by.
