I've been in love with IHOP since working as a waitress while attending college. I choose pancakes over waffles most days. This location, unfortunately, was like most that I have patronized. I received great service from the wait staff, but the kitchen however was not attentive to customer requests, at all. Somehow the translation of any variation to the menu or how food is 'usually' prepared got lost between the waiter and the cook. None of what I asked for was followed up. My requests were not abnormal either. I wanted my scrambled eggs to be shelled instead of the precracked, premixed liquid eggs (used for omelettes), and I wanted the Crepes cooked well and crispy. These types of missteps tend to happen frequently and is usually dependent on the relationship between the waiter and cook. Apparently, not so good because I saw the request printed and charged for on the receipt (which means that my waiter listened well). The only thing that kept me from sending it back for a recook was that it was my 1st meal of the day and hunger had set in. 😒

Crystal Universe

I've been to this location three times. First time was fine. Took a bit to get seated even though it was an empty restaurant but the good and service was food. Second time they were supposed to be open at 6 but they weren't ready at all. Third time was very busy. Server was excellent but the place was very much needing a through cleaning. The windows were disgustingly smudged, under the table appeared to have syrup on it, it just all needed a good cleaning. But what really drove me nuts was the busboy coming to take all of our dishes before we were actually finished. Really felt like we were getting rushed out after only being there 25-30 minutes. Never had them come clear all of our plates whilst we were still sitting there. We were going to get dessert but we decided to just leave.

I use to love coming to this ihop, but after the service we received tonight I highly doubt I'll ever come here again. We got seated at 8:55 (just my husband and myself) didn't get asked what we wanted to drink until 9:13 and then didn't get our food until 9:40...... we both ordered chicken tenders and they came out burned to a crisp. I will admit that they tried to fix it but I had already lost my appetite. I could probably understand if it was super busy but there were maybe 4 tables seated...... its really a shame

This was my first time coming here. I had the big steak omelette and pancakes. I loved it! I will be back. I dined in and my order was correct and efficient! The waiter was so nice and professional.
