First time, clean and well taken care of. Bags and water hole available. Met some really cool dogs and their people. Stayed in the 20lbs or less area since our guys is only about 18lbs. Will go again!

Large open space with plenty of shade. Nice little obstacle course for your furry friend and plenty of available water too. The whole place is fenced with double gate entry and exit. Also, there's a nice little segregated stress for smaller dogs I guess so they don't get trampled or eaten by the bigger ones. Lots of people and dogs every time i go but it is big enough to accommodate comfortably. It is well maintained and I didn't even see any poop, kinda amazing really. Great spot, I highly recommend it

This dog park is huge! Lots of space for both big dogs and two little dog (less than 20 lbs) areas. Plenty of parking, lots of shade, ample doggy water fountains. There is even an agility course! The grass is well maintained; clean area- I didn’t see any dog messes laying around. Great dog park in the Sarasota area 🐶

First time going to this park with my deer head chihuahua and it was amazing! I live 5 mins from Gillespie dog park but this one had way more friendly small dogs and is huge! Super comfortable with friendly dog owners. Highly recommended!

Why is it acceptable for someone to run a business out of this park and have 20-40 dogs here all day with only 1-2 people? I have left three times now after my dogs were charged by a pack of dogs. It’s M-F and ridiculous.

I believe they are a dog daycare business. They don't necessarily "run the business out of the park," but they certainly do utilize the park to give exercise to the dogs they care for. I don't believe you can enforce that people only bring their own dogs to parks, but I may be wrong. Perhaps this is a question for the Sarasota parks department more than it is a question for Google. I do know, though, and I believe it is stated in the park rules that people are responsible that whatever dogs they bring remain under their control at all times. All this said, they normally stay in one area of the park, and the park is certainly large enough for anyone to not be near this group. Further if they were not displaying aggression, there really is nothing wrong with that behavior as long as the owners/caregivers are able to get them back to one area of the park or call them away from hurting your dogs. Any given group of dogs can form a playful pack to chase another dog. It's just dog behavior.
