We just drove in they but at least saw the entrance. I have learned talking with business in Wilmington NC how important the movie industry is to locally owned and operated business in the area. Tours are available on Saturday and Sunday. Look forward to being in town when the tours are going on so I can see the inside. I have seen the personal impact having this in NC has made with so many people.

Don't waste your money. We saw a 5 min. commercial about the movie studios, and then went outside and walked around some of the sound stage buildings for about 40 min. We did not go in, just walked outside the buildings! That is the same thing you see from the road or outside the fence. Finally went into a stage building that supposedly was used for Under the Dome. Saw the police station, very small jail, and the diner. That was IT. They thanked us for coming and tell our friends about it. Yes, I am telling, Don't Go!
