This place does nothing to help children who are being physically and mentally abused. They want to focus on children who are not being fed and I understand that, but even with being shown a mountain of evidence, having the child give statements, showing videos and pictures that have been collected for years, the representative apologized and said she feels bad for us as it was obvious we were trying to protect the child, yet it didn't meet the threshold of what they can do. Gabriel Fernandez also was not starved and you see how that turned out. I'm not sure exactly what they do, but keeping a child safe from abuse is not one of them. Even when filing police reports, they direct you to contact this organization as a next step. It's really sad if you actually care about children.

My experience with FCCS was very pleasant. They had been called and my family was being looked into, our case worker was very professional and thorough in her investigation. She did everything that was expected of her, asked appropriate questions to myself and my children, and was not judgemental in any way. Was it an ideal circumstance? Absolutely not. But the caseworker helped us work through it and did a fantastic job!
