Had a good early dinner. Ate so much. Good pizza, tasty Stromboli and steak and cheese.

No flatware to eat with. I had to request a plastic fork to eat rubbery, tough spaghetti and what looked to be store-bought meatballs like one would get frozen in a bag at any grocery store. The marinara was just average and too sweet with an overwhelming taste of garlic and ketchup. Nothing homemade here for my spaghetti and meatballs dinner whatsoever. I was served buttered garlic toast, which would have been the only saving grace, but the butter was way too prominent making the toast wet, greasy and messy to eat. For some reason, I was also served a triangular shaped chunk of bread that was cold, ice cold....did I say cold? It was a gluten dough bomb from hell that had NO flavor, and did I say it was COLD? Even the decor was depressing. The tables had a sticky feel to them. If this is in the style of traditional New York Pizza and Italian cooking, I now know I haven't missed a thing. Sorry guys but my experience today sucked.

Pretty low quality. Here's my story. I ordered a cheese pizza with one topping. I ask for well done bake as this place undercooks their pizza. Original wait time was 30 minutes and I waited almost 2 hours for my order to be delivered. They said they over cooked the pizza once and had to remake it. Then they said they dropped it and had to remake it. Then they deliver this to me and said "sorry it wasn't well baked as we were just trying to get you the pizza. This is what they call a well baked pepperoni pizza. The quality of their other items is also just as bad. I attached a picture of a "steak" sandwhich they also delivered 2 hours late. When I called the store the lady answering the phone said "Well maybe we can give you a new pizza on your next trip to the store". That's when I knew I should just bring the poorly made food back and get my money back. This place serves very low quality poorly prepared food. I think the person responding to this review is missing the point that THEY partnered with slice.com to provide a service. So much so that they added the link to slice.com on their corporate web site, see the attached screenshots. Visit the New York Pizza Department website and click on the link for delivery. If this service is so unreliable and out of your control, why do you advertise their services on your website? Frankly, it doesn’t matter if the delivery is slow, if the quality of the food is poor when it left, it’s not really the fault of the delivery service. Assuming you are the manager/owner, you picked slice.com and by putting them on your website and listing them as your delivery service you are in fact, declaring that this a partner in your business and as such you bear some responsibility to act if they fail to live up to your standards. In my opinion your counter staff need more training. I will call the main location this week to discuss more on the phone. So to recap, you decided who to partner with for your delivery service and YOU decided what kind of product you would let leave your business.

Great pizza, but they could probably use a little Improvement in their social distancing and masking practices
They are usually closed on Sunday, it's the one day a week they are closed.
