Not sure what the hype was since we had cold stale chips for an appetizer. Then barely a handful of seafood for well over 25$ a plate.. I won't be going back. The service was kind and the place was pretty as the Newbury docks are right across the street. However the food quality and price was not on point at all.

We've driven by many times over the years... Always busy. Today wasn't too many cars... Seafood chowder, small salad and seafood stuffed mushrooms was excellent. Take out chocolate cake with fudge sauce. Mr. Picky eater had the Bubba burger. If you haven't been to Bubba's, you should! Your taste buds will definitely appreciate it. Highly recommend stopping. Our server, Jesse, was very pleasant and friendly.

Travellers, this is an unassuming restaurant that exceeded our expectations. Located in Newburyport, NH,very close to lake Sunapee, this is the perfect spot to grab a meal after coming off the lake. There is a wonderful menu that has something for everyone. The ambiance is very congenial and everybody was jolly and having fun. It felt a bit like cheers, the vintage tv show. The food was delicious. Linguini and clam sauce was excellent, missing a piece of Italian bread to dip in the sauce. Loaded with clams. Hamburgers also delicious, done to perfection and wonderful toppings. Cole slaw is delicious too. The seafood pie was delicious too. There many choices from sandwiches to elegant dinners. Service is quick and efficient and with a smile. This restaurant is worth the trip. Check it out. We recommend.

Bubba's is located in a beautiful location, across from the lake. The food is not as good as the view. The chowder was too salty, mostly immetation crab, very thick with corn starch, and gooey texture. Lobster roll meat did taste fresh, it was also over salted. The bathroom was clean, but the area with the toilet had no light so if there was an accident you could not see it. Price $95 with tip, two rolls, two chowders, one soft drink.
