I first visited this resort in ~2016 with a group from work. It is closer to Boston than several other ski resorts of similar size. It was a great place to ski and became my “go to” place for a few years. In the past couple of years, since being purchased by Vail Resorts, it has become overcrowded, likely due the Epic pass. Most recently, we made advance reservations to ski on a non-holiday weekend in late January, but when we arrived we were turned away due to all the parking lots and streets being filled. Sadly we drove two hours to ski there. Fortunately, it was fairly easy to get a refund, the agent was very friendly and there were smaller ski areas with a 30 minute drive. I can hardly imagine what the lift lines must have been like. I’m not sure what is the point of offering advance reservations, if the resort is going to oversell anyway. This resort should start putting quality of service ahead of profits. I will not be returning anytime soon.

This is my first year living in New England and since I love to ski I grabbed an epic pass to get me into a bunch of resorts. Sunapee was the first I've tried and even with only a couple trails open it was very nice. The staff were extremely welcoming and the views at the top of the mountain were amazing. The trails were well maintained too. The only frustration was that people had obviously not read on the website before going or at the lift before heading up the mountain that only intermediate terrain was open. As a result there were a number of people who shouldn't have been on the trails they were, and they ended up blocking a lot of people, quickly uncovering ice patches, and being a danger to themselves and others. Obviously, the staff can't do much about people making poor decisions which is why I've given five stars despite this. Should this kind of thing be a concern for you, I'd wait to visit until more terrain opens up in the coming weeks.

The mountain and the summer staff were unreal amazing!!! My sisters wedding could not have been more perfect!!!! Brady and Teresa were exceptional to work with!!! All the waiters and lift operations people were so kind and accommodating!!!! We dropped the wedding sign off the chair lift it was picked up in a matter of minutes. They watched the weather for us and made sure the ceremony went off without a hit on the mountain top!!! It could not have gone any better. Thank you from all of us for making the day so magical!!!!

Nah they don't seem to mind if you don't have them inside, been there 3 times this year and they don't care about the space in line everyone was cool as hell!
Yes on Wednesdays tickets are half price at $46. Book your tickets online, a few days ahead of time, to get the best deal
Many found passes get turned into the lift shacks or to the Ticket Scanners. Then those get turned in at Guest Services.
They are $39 for those over 80 and can be purchased at the resort.
