I can’t seem to get a return call. I have a request for a permit to have my shed built and I have paid for it, but can’t get a response from South Fulton. I have spoken to the permit staff and she was pleasant and accommodating, but now I cannot get her to respond to calls or emails. I hope she’s okay because from my call in the past this doesn’t seem like her. I am so disappointed with South Fulton. I wish I had purchased in another county.

This building permits department has gone from being the easiest permit application process to being the worst in my opinion. It is unreasonable for customers to not get a phone answer, after being exhausted by their misunderstanding via email. Unlike other metro cities they seem to be avoiding necessary phone call. I do not believe that they have a direct phone number for important callers, like applicants. In the past, South Fulton maintain phone numbers for contractors. This is poor service and a disservice to citizens and paying customers. It may be cool for the workers, but for the customers, it's very very bad.

The effort to rename South Fultom GA to Renaisanse failed. Zip codes are for postal delivery purposes and there will be no zip or postal delivery city names being changed because of the incorporation
Renaissance was dropped even though it was voted in. It’s still The City of South Fulton.
Here in cedar Grove road area we do not have police services it takes two hours to get a cop out here for a simple burglary in progress

Ask them what kind of permit. It may be for installation. As far as I know no police dept issues any kind of permit for security systems.
