I feel like this was false advertising. I booked a massage at this location as a non-member and when I went to check out, the price was almost $100 more than what I found on the massage envy website for the service I had. When I asked the gentleman checking me out, he let me know that the price on the website was wrong, but what he would be able to do is bill me full price and have either the manager or assistant manager call me in the following day or 2 to give me a refund to match the member price (which was closer to the advertised price). He also called the assistant manager on speaker who confirmed the refund. But I never got a call back. I had to chase them and leave messages with several associates, and on the manager’s voicemail. Finally, after almost a month I called and got the manager who promptly and rather rudely told me they could not honor the refund. She was saying canned responses like “I understand your frustration”, but still was not willing to honor what 2 other employees promised. Just be wary of this business. They falsely advise online and do not honor what is promised to a customer! Please don’t waste your money here.

After seeing these reviews now, I’m not sure I would have chosen to book a massage at this location. First off, this is not 100% massage envy’s fault but, when typing Massage Envy into google maps, it took me to another location. *see photo- Where it says Massage Envy is, is not where they are located. The actual location is 7 minutes away. Maybe Massage envy can look into to this issue so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. When I called to explain why I’d be late, they told me they didn’t have an appt for me. But to show up and we’ll figure it out. Once I did get there, 10 minutes late, I would have liked to have just gone into my massage appt, but I had to refill out all the info that I already filled out on line and explain that I wasn’t Brian. Which is what name my massage was scheduled under (my name’s Elizabeth 🤷♀️). I still have no idea how this mistake even happened. With 40 minutes left of my 60 minute massage, I finally got to go into my room. I explained that I could not lay flat on my stomach and would lay on my side. The masseuse was annoyed by this and explained that now she’d have to go get pillows. I told her that is fine. I then asked if she could turn up the heat on the mattress. She again was annoyed and said that who ever booked my appt wanted it on low. 🤷♀️ I booked it and I never said I wanted it on low. Maybe it’s not so easy to change the heat settings??? So, In the end, I got about a 30 minute massage for about $140 dollars. 😕 and it was more like an application of oil than a massage. I didn’t say anything to her bc I felt I had already annoyed her enough. luckily it was a gift given to me, but still 😔 lesson learned.

I booked a massage this morning due to two weeks of debilitating migraines. Approximately one hour prior to the appointment my neurologist advised that I not be given a massage due to the shots he would be giving me the following day. I called and instead of receiving sympathy I got talked over by the extremely rude and unprofessional staff including the manager and they refused to refund me my money without a doctors note. I found this to be extremely unethical not to mention illegal and I will be pursuing legal action against them. Now I understand why they have been sued numerous times and I feel saved from what could have been a disastrous experience. I am also disputing the 50% charge they placed onto my credit card. Avoid this unsympathetic and utterly inhuman establishment!!

I have always had such a good experience at Massage Envy because of Serena at the front desk. She is always so friendly and knowledgeable about everything, and always making me feel so welcome. When I have called in and have talked to her, she is always able to help me right away with my questions. She's a keeper!
