Absolutely LOVE MY HAIR! I should have chose one of her straight her services a long time ago. I finally got rid of the dead stuff and can wear my hair confidently. I booked some package thinking I was getting a regular hair washing but I smelt essential oils which I love. I felt like I was at a spa with the services she provided, not just some "beauty shoppe". Thanks Sylvia LOVE IT!!!

If something is CHEAP, it does not mean it's always GOOD!!! I had a natural curly hair appointment. The service involved a wash-and-go, then a trim. When I first walked in the lady did not introduce herself and was very unfriendly. I assumed she was reserved, well I hoped. Then found out she does NOT have customer service skills. I explained to her the appointment I signed up for and asked her to give me a trim as well. Little did I know she trims/cuts hair while WET!!!!! Out of my 25 years of life, I've never had my hair cut WET! I've been natural for about 8 years and I consider myself very knowledgeable about curly hair, yet alone my own hair. As most know, you do NOT cut African Americans' hair while wet. This will leave split ends and unevenness. Plus our curly hair is NOT at its organic length when wet. Therefore, you will cut more inches off then if you cut dry. This all happened to me! When I asked for clarity about how she is going to trim my hair, she gave me an attitude and was rude. I would have walked out but she has my deposit and I did not want to leave with soaking wet hair when I had some where to be. After cutting my hair wet, she then puts drug store products into my hair and place me under the dryer for 20 mins. There is nothing wrong with drug store products if you are doing it at home. The products caused my hair to be stiff and stuck to my head. If she would have used higher quality products my hair would not be dried out and stuck together. After 20 mins under the dryer, she told me I was done knowing my hair is still soaking wet. I asked politely to wait until my hair is fully dry for I can get better use of my hair style, because that's the service I am paying her for. She told me I had a few more minutes then she had to go. I believe that is so unprofessional because you are going to leave and let my hair go without being fully done. I'm a customer, you should not rush me under the dryer while my style is incomplete. Moral of the Story, I will NEVER attend here again or allow my friends to go to her. My hair has split ends, is uneven, stuck together, and is dried out. She was rude, lacked customer service skills, and was unprofessional. Not every African American Hairstylist knows how to do Natural Hair. Ladies and Gents be careful on who you let cut and style your hair. As you know it take years to get OUR hair to the desire look we want. Take value in that and don't allow anyone to do your CROWN!

I booked an appointment at Naturally Me for a silk press with glued in extensions for fullness. The stylist that was to service me was Angela A. When booking the rate was $55.00 for the silk press only. She washed and conditioned my hair however she flat ironed my hair with a curling iron never touched my edges. I was told that I had to pay $150.00. I was so upset and extremely disappointed. I reached out to Mrs. Sylvia who asked me to come in for her to fix my hair which she did and amazing job with. I have attached pictures to show the difference in work. I think that this stylist is not good for her brand or business. They hurt what you are trying to build. I won't use this salon again because I do believe that Angela was trying to get over. I don't believe you build a strong clientele by doing this. Please also note that Mrs. Sylvia was very professional, knowledgeable, and kind.

This is the best natural hairdresser near me. My hair looks its best when I go to Sylvia it comes out soft shiny and hydrated every single time she blow drys and straightens my hair. Her services are so affordable which is why she probably always gets alot of clients. The only reason why I didn’t give her 5 stars is because its always so hard to book an appointment with her she seems to always be booked every time I try to schedule for the next week or even 2 weeks from now! If you want to continue having regular appointments with her you have to book your appointments 3 weeks or a month ahead of time which seems really inconvient for me.
