Abbey, at Abelia Salon, has been doing my hair for quite a few years. My hair is thin, very fine & not abundant. Her color is wonderful, get numerous compliments on the color. But it’s really the whole experience: a touch of aroma therapy while color is setting. A most wonderful scalp massage in addition to the other great hair health items used while hair is washed. Abbey also ‘listens’ as you speak of hair wants or needs. It’s not just getting one’s hair done, it’s a time of calm, and self care.

The best experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon! I’m extremely nervous when someone new touching my hair because of the thickness and curl but I absolutely loved everything about this place. Extremely thorough intake process to understand where I’m at with my feelings about my hair and incorporated all of my details into an experienced tailored to my needs. I love that she taught me how to incorporate care into a routine that I need to be really low-maintenance. Also, the hair products are amazing! I got some for myself and my sister because they make my hair look and feel incredible!

I have been going to Abbey for many years now. She is the queen of hair color and hair care. She knows exactly the right shades and tones that will complement my face and my coloring. All of the products that Abby uses and sells are nourishing to the hair. As an added bonus, Abby is always continuing her education in hair care and she then passes on that expertise to her clients. I'm incredibly grateful for that. I am a client who has tortured my course curly hair into submission for most of my adult life. Abby has helped me to find better ways and healthier ways to address that. Abbey always talks to me first to find out if I'm having any issues with my hair or scalp so she can address those during my appointment. She isn't trying to get me in and out right away and I appreciate that.
