I took my 5 year old here for his first eye exam and they were amazing! Both the nurse and doctor had amazing bedside manor and my boy was calm and comfortable within minutes. I also forgot my insurance card and they didn't give me any fuss over it. They just gave me an email and asked I send a picture when I'm able. 100% recommend this place.

Very impressed with Dr. Sky Schroeder and his office staff at OC Eye Care! Dr. Schroeder has gone above and beyond to fit me into his schedule and provide me with good information concerning my eye condition, The staff has also been very personable and friendly. Dr Schroeder and his staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I struggled with contact lens prescriptions for about 4 years getting very poor exams/RXs at several optometrists in Salem. Several of my friends recommended Dr. Schroeder, and I am now able to see far, and read close, with contacts and glasses. I would highly recommend him, and thank him for better eyesight!

We do take Oregon Health Plan, specifically Intercommunity Health Plans (IHN) through Samaritan or OHP Open Card. Though if you are not sure which OHP you have give the office a call and we would be happy to assist you.
New glasses generally take 7-14 business days; we use a quality lab out of Portland for our lenses...which take a little more time.
