Not good the chicken fried steak is not real green beans has no season mac and cheese mushy the food at grandys is sloppy Granny's used to be a real good restaurant maybe like 20 years ago this food has went way down the hill ever since

I went to pick up lunch for my coworkers and decided to go inside since I had several orders & wanted to make sure it was correct. The cashier was very rude. I asked to speak to the manager. She said "he is busy" & preceeded to make several drive thru orders & then when someone else came inside she took his order. Never once letting the manager know I was waiting to talk to him. I eventually got in my car & drove to the drive thru window to speak to the manager. At which point I explained that all I was trying to do was get lunch for my coworkers and did not appreciate the way his employee had treated me. I asked for her name and he told me I will take care of it. I asked him several times and he finally said Flor. Which I am not sure I believe. I told him I would be including it in my survey. I have gone there many times before. And even when they messed up my order I returned. But I will not be returning again. Blatant rudeness is not acceptable in the service industry. If you hate your job so much then quit. Don't ruin someone else's day with your bad attitude.

Bought their 10 piece chicken dinner with fried okra and Cole slaw and rolls. Also bought two cinnamon rolls. Everything was GREAT and tasted like home cooking. The Cole slaw was not soaked in mayonnaise which made it better and the fried okra was delicious. Will visit again. Wish they had orders for wings and livers.

This is a great Grandys in Garland... friendly staff place is very clean and the chicken fried steak is MONEY!!! Only down fall is the salad bar is still closed due to stupid Covid restrictions. Can get a nice meal that's better than typical fast food for around $10. Good sides and the chicken is very good as well... they also have a drive thru
