Meet expectations for the lower price point except room wasn’t very clean. Didn’t complain as the front end staff were friendly and I sympathize with them in that position. Location offers some large vehicle/ semi parking for staying-paying guests …. That went along way with me. Great location for a driver who needs a break from our living cubicle combined with the amount of walkable amenities and the parking Bed was comfy

Cheapest in the area won’t win you any awards but will do for a quick overnight. Interior has been updated. Specifically with USB hubs all around. But TV is still outdated if you’re looking to watch Netflix I don’t think this will connect like most current hotels. No issues of terrible smells or cleanliness. Bathroom was clean though bare. Only a bar soap. No hair soap or lotion or anything else. AC is the least updated part (window unit) and was loud. But worked well enough to cool the room and shut it off to sleep in peace. No hot room for me. Last note is the pool. Current google listing has no pool on amenities but they do have one. I could not go as it is closed on day on Mondays for some reason. Bring your swimsuit if you’re staying here Tuesday-Sunday! Surfs up

I had injured my back on the job and was resting in my room. Around 11am the next morning the front desk called my room insisting that I walk down to the front desk so they can charge my card for another night. Informed of my situation, the manager "Gina" (although name not verified) said she cannot charge my card on file unless I'm standing at the front desk, & that there is no other way to pay for the room (internet, etc). I tried to get myself up to make it down there, but the pain was too intense. So I called someone else to come pay for the room on my behalf, she wouldn't allow that either. "Gina" called the room again at 11:36am and said "If you are still in the room at 12:00, your card on file will be charged for another night, and you'll still have to leave". I said, "It sounds like you've discovered the solution... Charge my card for another night & I'll be leaving tomorrow morning." She replied, "No, Your card will be charged for another night, and I'm calling Denison PD to have you escorted out of my hotel!! ". "Gina" is in drastic need of customer service education.

Horrible rooms. First room we got placed in had NOT been cleaned. The next room was still horrible and had no towels. Dryer was broken and they didn't care. Kept saying they'd get to it and for the three days we were there, they didn't even check on it. Said they didn't have time. Management was horrible and tried charging my family member to be there visiting for the day, not even staying the night. Tried charging for extra towels for my kids. I would NOT RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE ST ALL! I normally do not leave bad reviews and I am sorry I had to leave this one, but when you come from out of town and expect comfort and cleanliness, and get filth and the worst customer care, the past three times in a year, then something has to be done.

Motel 6in Denison is pretty good but stay away from the corner rooms if possible...i could hear vehicles with loud exhaust easily...plus it's close to Wal-Mart and fast food like sonic and taco bell
