A great park for moderate hiking. Dont underestimate the amount of water you will need for summer hikes. Great forest-y trails and beautiful trails that run the coast the lake. We play a game and watch out for lizards...😁

This park was serene and beautiful. There are plenty of trails. It was very shady and cool in the summer morning but got very hot and sunny by 11AM. Wear sunscreen, bring a water bottle, and enjoy the views! I had a great time.

Love the park and the location. Nice elevation changes along the trails if you head down to the lake, very nice scenery

Excellent park with well defined trails. There are some steep spots and the trails are not paved so exercise the appropriate caution. There are several good views of the lake on the northern trail. We didn’t do the southern trail on this visit. Parking is good but not huge. The north trail was a good mix of shade and sun, not sure about the others. Lots of fossils visible in the upper limestone.

Thanks for asking rather than just doing something you aren't sure of. Unfortunately a lot of the people who come out to the trail and bring their dogs use reel type leashes or none at all. It can be a huge issue for people who are frightened of dogs and not expecting to encounter them.
No >:(
Yes thes colors are amazing
The park is currently open from dawn until dusk and you do not need a reservation.
Did not see anything about that posted. It was packed on the trail. Not much social distancing but most ehere wearing masks when needed
Only Service Dogs allowed.
I went today... it looks like they are doing some work but it is open
It really depends on the day and what part of the lake you are on. A lot of people kayak out of twin points park on eagle mountain lake.
