There was a sign posted stating no dogs on trails allowed, we went there today and saw 3 dogs on the trails, 1 was being walked without a leash. So are dogs allowed now?

Thanks for asking rather than just doing something you aren't sure of. Unfortunately a lot of the people who come out to the trail and bring their dogs use reel type leashes or none at all. It can be a huge issue for people who are frightened of dogs and not expecting to encounter them.

Dogs are not allowed on this trail system.

No, always people doing their own thing though...I always take pepper spray or a stick because people aren't responsible enough to at least keep them leashed.

There is a number on the sign out front you can call and report dogs. I spoke with an officer and he said definitely call them and report type of dog and where you saw them and they will do their best to come out and ticket people!

Please follow the park rules that says no dogs and let everyone enjoy this beautiful gift of nature without stepping on dog poop. We go there regularly and lately we have come across dog poop on the walking paths which we don’t want to look out for when jogging or walking.
