Neptune Oyster. Oh, yes. The afternoon I visited was a weekday so the wait was only 45 minutes. The johnny cake with bluefish and caviar is a must order item. Delicious! The flavors! The lobster roll was fresh, but not special-tasting. Razor clams were supremely fresh and magnificent. Loved the taste. The oysters were very fresh and an employee explained where each oyster was from. The service was A+ from all employees. Servers made sure I was taken care of and the water glass was continually filled. Small interior of restaurant. Service is quick and friendly so the turnaround time is frequent. And they take American Express.

In a word - outstanding. I waited in line for about 30 minutes and it was worth waiting much longer! They have outstanding selection of local oysters that you can only find in this region. And they were perfectly shucked. I mean PERFECTLY shucked. (Rare, even for good oyster places) The selection of local oysters was augmented by oysters from the northeast and Canada. The food was incredible. Such a thoughtful menu of classics along side stuff that seafood purists will love (example: anchovy cocktail) I had the sea bass and it was out of this world. Cooked in butter wine sauce with pork belly and Al dente fresh vegetable. Yum. The wine list is just as good. Hard to find stuff from Burgundy. I would come here just for the wine. This is my new favorite place in Boston. Just be prepared for a wait. It will be worth it.

Got the lobster roll with a side salad and it was awesome. The roll was buttery and fluffy and the lobster was tasty and fresh. They don’t skimp on portions here and the service is great. It’s a small space so it’s no wonder that there’s a long line at times

I was really really really pleased to decide to visit here. I had to wait for some time but it was totally worth of it. The oysters are very fresh, juicy and delicious. And the foods which I ordered are yummy too and went well with my drink. Surely the service was very satisfactory. My family had a great time in here. I'll definitely try again next time.

Yes there were about 5 or 6 tables outside and around 5 inside
I didn't have it as we are small party. Don't know if they charge large party... 🤔
Is it a brain-dead Chinese who can't read the English menu?
Its a restaurant. Try a market
Nope
No definitely not good for kids. It is small and quite cramped
It's the best in the city hands down. It's big its buttery it's on brioche and the fries are awesome too. Worth every penny.
Opens at 1130am. There's usually a line of 15+ people and it starts 30 min before they open but everyone gets seated. Go then and it can be lunch!
About $15
First come first serve. You can put your name and number when you get there and they will call you when your table is ready. No reservations.
No, they don't have parking. Best to use Uber or metro in that area.
When I was there, I thought that too at first. Then I realized that they were taking names and phone numbers to call the people later. So many of the people in line aren't in the place but out and about waiting for a phone call. When they get the call, then they come in and go to the front of the line to be seated. Maybe that's what you were witnessing, but didn't get a chance to see the numbers being taken?
No reservations taken. They take down your name. If you want lunch they suggest to get there an hr in advance before they open and they take in the first 35 guests. Once the first 35 are seated, they take your name down and it can be up to and 1-1.5hr wait after that. If you're going for dinner be ready for an 2-3+ hr wait so you can put your name down and explore the area or have a drink or two at a nearby bar! Seems like a mission but if you're a foody, its worth it!
