Clean, beautiful campsites, I love camping here. Great location, close enough to amenities to be convenient, but not TOO close to lose the magic of s'mores around a campfire. Good for a day trip to the pond or an awesome weekend in a tent under the stars. RV's we're there too, but not too overwhelming for tent campers, which is rare to find.

I really enjoyed my day here. The water is very nice and deep when you get farther it is perfect for swimming. They have a snack bar where you can grab quick snacks (candy, ice cream) The staff was very nice and helpful. I will definitely be coming back again.

I live about 3 minutes from this place. Ever since I was a child this place has been filled with leeches and frogs . It may be nice if you just want to chill in your camper and " experience maine " from out of state, but if you're from the brunswick area looking to swim , I would highly avoid this area and I would even rather swim at coffins pond than here. And even at that point you're better off just viditjg the ymca for swimming. I have never camped here so I cant speak on that aspect , but I do know that the water is pretty gross . It might be fun for a few hours but if you end up finding any leeches on you don't say there wasn't any warning . You're swimming in a man made pond in the middle of the woods ...

Totally rude to me. Told me it was dog friendly and arrive an hour later for the woman to continue being rude and then tell me my dog needed papers to be there. Worst I have ever been treated at a campground.
