This is a great little hike for young children lots of cool places to explore and rivers and waterfalls to play in!

So peaceful. Little strawberry lake was right along side the mountain. Beautiful

This campground was nestled up near Strawberry Lake and Mountain. A 10-site first come first served campground with great wood coverage and ample site space. Each site has a table and fire pit with close access to a water spicket. The bathroom was relatively clean for this type of campground with no bad odor as long as people made sure to close the toilet seat every time. Cost to stay here was very affordable and the trails around it are extensive. Many people pack in from here to the lake or other trails for camping in the wilderness. Definitely a place I'd camp again. The one frustration was the number of annoying yellow jackets that loved to be around. But otherwise nighttime there really wasn't many mosquitos.

We didn't camp here, but hiked to Strawberry Lake from the campground. You have to drive about 8 miles on a dirt road to reach the campground, but the lake view is well worth the drive

During Mid July thru August it is often full during the week but almost guaranteed full by Thursday night. It is a trail head and campground so gets extensive summer use.
