Spot 49 is a death trap. if you are camping with a tent avoid Spot 49 at all costs. There is no markings to keep people away from your camp site and it's right on the main line where people are constantly running 30/40 mph 10 feet away from you. also there is a tree shoot area behind you where people rip through your campsite. If we would have set our tents there we would have been ran over at 2am when people decided they were going to blast through our site. they ended up running over our flags we set out as caution signs

Beautiful views and very nice camp host! Just be sure to air down!

I went to Magic Mountain in Valencia when I was a teenager and rode the Viper. Before today, that was the greatest natural thrill of my life. I wish I could post a video because no picture can do it justice.

Went there for a company meeting, so I only saw the Pavilion. It's a wide open space with tons of room to ride your ATVs and sand camp. If you go out there through Winchester Bay,there are lots of places to park and go to the beach. However, most of the parking requires some kind of parking permit. Day-use, annual, state, ODNRA and BLM. Whew... Just go to a visitor center and get the Oregon coast passport if you're going to use it a lot. It covers lots of different stuff, And is about $35 for one year

To get to the sand camps you need a 4x4,
Yes you can get to numbers 45,46,47 without airing down any place else you have to air down. Always check with HOST at 3rd beach before you head out on sand. I am the host.
U can take it. Better air your tires down. And be prepared if u get stuck to dig. Maybe slide some boards under drivers. Drive like hell
56 is about 1.5 miles south of 3rd beach parking lot on the sand you need a 4x4 and need to air down tires on truck and trailer to get to it. Get maps at parking lot.
As long as you air down both the truck and trailer, you should be fine. If you don't air down you will get stuck.
Yes, two flushing & one out house style.
I loved sandcamping! I had a four-wheel drive and an OHV permit, and you can drive all over around and through the dunes and even sleep on the beach. You enter at the same place to go to Winchester Bay but just keep on heading down.
Yes 10.00 per night 5 vehicles 20 people.
