Great place to vacation. There is lots to do here. Outdoors you can fish 🐟 swim 🏊♂️and play games here. Inside there is a song, weigh room, indoor pool, pool Table and ping pong.love it here.

The negative reviews you should ignore. I was on the fence because of them, but it was an Amazing trip. Yes, you have to drive some distances to get to attractions, yes, the decor is a slight bit outdated, but it gives you a very homely feel. My unit was clean, the staff and everyone in the area were extremely friendly and personable. The views are amazing, including the views from the resort. The pool was clean and well kept, hot tub was good temperature. Water pressure in the showers were adjustable and felt like a massage on my back. Wi-Fi worked just fine, I was one of the further units from the office, and had no issue. My two kids and I had a blast, they are 8, and 6, and I’m 31 for age reference. It is remote, but most of Maine is. Highly recommend, it was nice to get away from the insanity from Jersey…….

Scenery was great. Beth at the office was great. Pool was nice. Tennis and basketball courts were a wreck. No warning that there would be a five foot drop for the kayaks. Someone should be available to help. Nearest gas station is 15 minutes away. Had to constantly drive far for things to see and do.

The Slice at the golf course. Birch Point is open for lunch and Thurs-Sat for dinner. Most other restaurants are 20-30 minutes away.
Beautiful mountain activities 1 hour away. Fishing, hiking, picnics!

No. You have a full kitchen in the unit and a local grocery store in town. We purchase a weeks worth of groceries and eat at the resort or go to a local restaurant. The resort is a lovely getaway from City life

Most fishing is not allowed in open water after Oct 1 but there are so many rules that i would advise you to call the resort. They might know of a place that's an exception
