My stay at this hotel was the worst experience I have ever had. I was assuming by the photos and price that the hotel would be at least a 4 star hotel. Once I arrived at the hotel the outside appearance was nice the pool is small so if your bringing younger children you will have no space in the pool. I reserved a ocean view room to walk out to the beach in advance. The check in process was very slow I had to wait until 6pm to get a room. Once in the room the room was not clean and smelled horrible. I requested a new room and they complied, the next room was clean but not up the the level of money I paid and what I reserved. None of the staff was rude at all but service was just really slow. I would recommend saving your money and go to another hotel close by. Trust me it is not worth a penny I paid for this hotel still needs a lot of upgrades for the money I paid. Never again.

My family had a wonderful time at Mission Bay! Our room was very spacious and extremely clean. We also enjoyed so many amenities! The Mercado was well stocked with necessities and souvenirs, and the employees (especially Katie) there were incredibly helpful. Covewood, the restaurant on property, was great. We had breakfast and dinner there most days, and everything we tried was delicious! The waitstaff were exceptionally patient with my family, and Claudio and Tony, in particular, were extremely kind and helpful! We loved our experience here and would definitely return for future vacations!

Very good stay. We loved the location and the ambience of the resort. The staff were wonderful. The only downsides were the bathrooms could be cleaner. Lots of dried urine drips could be seen around the toilet area. The baseboards are not just dusty but thick with dirt and I can only guess what else. I wish more attention was paid to cleanliness. For over $650 a night Canadian I would expect a higher caliber. Maybe the resort isn’t giving staff enough time per room to clean? The restaurant just off the beach was beautiful and the food pretty good. The service though was hit or miss. The prices just like the room should reflect better service. We’re glad we stayed. Even though I had to Lysol wipe the bathroom before i used it. We stayed in two separate rooms as we upgraded one night and both bathrooms were the same so it was not isolated. I would stay again. Mission Bay nailed the decor, staff were friendly and parking was a breeze!

Beautiful place; but be sure to ask for the newly renovated ground level rooms. I stayed in the Clairmont in a traditional sized room; it's a bit small, but perfect for one person (or perhaps two people). You don't really spend that much time in the room anyway, so it's not really a big deal. Private beach, decent food, nice pool...and the weather is simply amazing here in March. Definitely recommend!

Probably not. Never heard of anyone doing that.
The pool is open to guests of the hotel as you need your room key to access it.
We will definitely revisit. We had such a good time here. Very nice clean rooms. The grounds were beautiful. The restaurants had delicious food. Every staff member we encountered during our stay were very nice and friendly.
Yes. Beside a Keurig coffee maker as well, they can also provide a microwave oven if requested.
Free wifi, and 40 dollars per night to park
The beach is not in walking distance. You will have to drive to the beach. The pool is ok.
Not sure but you can see SeaWorlds fireworks from the hotel
Totally queen size beds
It has a beautiful sandy beach on Mission Bay. There's a boardwalk for bike riding or walking/running. Beautiful facility.
You can check the website ot call the front desk but most Hilton Hotels have you check in at 4pm and out at 11am.
Huge amount of options if you're ok with about a $10 Lyft/Uber ride, but there is a hotel bar too!
As previously stated the bay is right behind but if you want a beach with crashing waves and a boardwalk with little shops it's about a 3 mile walk, bike, or drive
Is there other parking near by so you dont have to pay the $40 a day?
