You don't have to stay at the resort to use amenities like the general store or the swim area. We came for day use and parked at the marina, it was $8 to park. Able to rent paddle boards, kayaks, peddle boats and even pontoons! We liked the swim area, I won't call it a beach because it's very rocky I would recommend water shoes. There is a little floating dock to jump off and plenty of seating in Adirondack chairs that we weren't even anticipating. Loved all the chairs along the shore. Great place to swim!

This Resort SHINES, totally worth the drive, food, service, extremely clean and a beautiful setting. I was very surprised as the they presented our lunches, and large portions, excellent quality and taste. Please stop and support this fantastic Full Service Resort.

We arrived at Lake of the Woods Resort just ahead of a week long snow event. If you have to be “snowed in” I can’t think of a better place to be. Every member of the staff was friendly, courteous and went out of their way to make our stay less stressful and more enjoyable. We would love to return to this beautiful place again!

We rented a cabin for couple of days. Nice cosy little cabin. Clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. Lake was still frozen over kids had a blast playing on the lake. Plus a small slid hill and the community fire pit was very nice. All and all a very enjoyable time. The pizza's looked beautiful full of toppings. Hand stretched dough for every pie but they where under cooked and tasted bland but smelt like heaven. Breakfast was good. No complaints there at all. From are group of 7.

Yes. They do. My family has an R. V. and they go there.
I don't have a photo, but I was there recently. You could also call them and ask about their boats.
Not too bad. The wasps are what you got to look out for when your food is out.
US Cellular, Verizon and a host of others, what does not work great is AT& T
All non motorized boats are $20 per hour,
Yes all cabins have bed linens, towels and kitchen towels.
There are areas to ride but you will need to obtain a Motor Vehicle Use Map or MVUM from the Forest Service for our area to understand where you can ride. Typically most people unload and ride from one or more of the snow parks on Hwy 140 in our vicinity.
I would recommend sending an email directly to the lodge or calling the reservations phone number on this one. They have good customer service principles, so I would expect them to help you explore a good solution.
Call the restaurant about smoke first. They will let you know how Smokey it is up there.
