I'm coming to vacation land Oct 14/until the 21 . is there fishing anywhere by there that we can fish that time of year or is all fishing closed in maine sept ,30/2017 need to know so we won't bring fishing gear

Most fishing is not allowed in open water after Oct 1 but there are so many rules that i would advise you to call the resort. They might know of a place that's an exception

Not sure about the time frames either, but there are 3 lakes within 5 minutes of the Vacationland.

There is fishing up there but I don't know time frames
