-I was on the club floor, has drinks for free and a snack bar during couple hours a day. -My room was picked up everyday and fresh sheets. Loved it. -Didn’t try the food, looks overpriced better explore Austin. -Next to the hotel on the inside is office buildings, sooo be careful people can see you… -Parking: it is own by the city and not the hotel. You will get receipt when you leave the garage and it is 50$ a day!

At around 6:00 a.m. I started hearing a hammering sound. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I look out the window. Here at the Omni when you look out the window you're actually looking into the lobby. They have a construction crew hammering away at their bar they are building. 100% unacceptable at 6:00 in the morning. I did get a response, which was nice. Of course I didn't expect any changes from it because such a large number of people here are afflicted by it. Perhaps it's a corporate decision to allow the workers to come in obnoxiously at 6:00 a.m. to start pounding on things. I got a response though. That's worth a tenth of a star. 1.1! Changed rooms which was nice. 1.2! Played some room key tag. On the 3rd attempt at getting into the original room to transfer my stuff to the new room further away from the noise I got in. They were accommodating through the process. The staff always had a friendly demeanor. Two stars! Tried to get to the pool during regular pool hours. Not only did my key not work and the extra key they gave me specifically for it, someone from Ireland's key didn't work and a couple of pool goers in their swimsuits' keys did not work. The staff came to our assistance and we tried multiple iterations of key swiping across various people's keys and none of them worked. They put us in the service elevator to get up. It was friendly and everything. Interesting.... It shouldn't have happened though. Night 2 was the quiet I expected on the 12th floor. Have you seen the movie 300? "I am a generous" reviewer. Three stars! Other than all of that it's an average hotel with great staff like you would expect at any hotel.

We picked an upscale room with a balcony on the 18th floor. Room had a great view and nice furniture, but room temperature never got above 61, the room wasn’t furnished with a breakfast menu, no coffee cups, and the coffee bar had no place to plug in the coffee maker. We don’t post negative reviews but given the price of the room we felt obligated to share a review. Unfortunately we won’t be staying here again.

High expectations with very low results. First of all the hotel is under major construction and renovations that we were not told about this when we booked, as we entered the hotel it had a makeshift desk and smelled of sewage. We had reserved a executive king, as we first walked into our room it was freezing cold, the air was on at 64 degrees (it was below 30 degrees outside), it took several hours for the room to warm up. The room was clean and size was moderate, the bathroom and shower was probably the highlight of the room. The bed was comfortable, the balcony was useless as there was a pillar in the center of it, no chairs to sit and relax outside. The front desk did give a good dinner recommendation. The bed was comfortable and room was quiet. The next morning we had no hot water to take a shower, when we spoke with the front desk they told us that’s normal since it’s cold outside. (Note: we ran the shower for 20 minutes waiting for it to warm up). Overall, we have stayed at a lot of different high end hotels and we were not impressed what so ever for the $650 dollar a night room. I would not recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a high end experience.

In Texas, the legal age is 18 as well. But just know, most of the Hotel's will ask you for a credit card to hold, in case there are damages to the room, if you pay cash for your stay. Omni Hotel has a very wonderful staff. Not sure of pricing. J. W. Marriott is also another nice place to stay, but also, no info on pricing. Good Luck on your trip, hope this was helpful.
I'm sorry I don't really know I think you should call Omni Hotel to more about that. Thank you
