Got my driver’s license here and I made an appointment the same day not even an hour after I arrived. Lady at the desk was super nice and helpful. This was the 3rd DPS I’ve been to this morning after not getting a same day appointment at another location. Thank you so much!

I arrived at 5am as a walk in because me and my son appointments were so far out ,and we were able to get a same day appointment such a relief! The staff was super friendly and really organized everyone was in such a good mood I’m glad I came here! My advice is get up and get here early bring a chair

I’ve usually had amazing experiences here. The one time I show up before they open and just before I make it in 10 mins into the doors being opened I’m told they have no more tickets. This is such a lie and terrible way to push people out the door. The kiosk had available appointments for the day and a lady walked up to me as I was selecting my time and told me I had to leave if I didn’t have an appointment. That makes absolutely zero sense. I do encourage anyone who had to take the day off to be here or doesn’t have child care at the drop of a hat to try the kiosk, that is if you don’t get rudely ran off.

I have changed my opinion. It was difficult to get ticket for walk-ins. Once you get over that hurdle, the people inside the DPS are very friendly and kind. Today the DPS rep was very wonderful and helpful. The one in a previous day was very rude. ---------- Few tips: For walk-ins you may want to show up by 6am on most weekdays. On Fridays, make that 4 am as most people try to take a day off to do this. If you see more than 40 people ahead of you, it's very unlikely, you'll get a appointment that day.
