If you are in need of skis from Mount sunapee ( since this WAS our families problem) do yourself a favor and rent from Bob skinners. My husband and I attempted to rent skis from the mountain but unfortunately were out of luck. We couldn’t rent from a local establishment near home since most were sold out. We rolled the dice and headed to the mountain praying Bob’s would come through for us. Luckily they did and exceeded our expectations! Their staff was super professional and had a great deal of patience ( the place was packed at 7:30am for those wanting dibs on the freshly fallen snow). This fast efficient team at bob’s had us out the door in 15-20 mins for 5 people! Thank you for making our snow day one we will never forget! Make sure you say hi to the store dog Tank when you visit!

Great local store to rent winter equipment from. Our equipment was in good shape and they even had size 14 shoes for my son. They were busy but the while experience went smoothly.

A shop of this size with multiple different services needs to have dedicated phone lines to the SME in each department. I called their only number to ask specific questions about their Alpine Touring boots in my size. I wear a 14 shoe and live an hour from their store. I wanted to even see if it was worth the drive as some ski shops don't carry large sizes at all. If they had them I would but them. Not to mention I get the 130 flex rating which makes the boot fairly expensive. I was prepared to spend 1k in their store... when I called woth this inquiry I was met with a female saying she wouldn't look for me because she was busy with rentals. Just flat out no, "you don't matter to us right now" is basically what she said. Next time put me on hold and make it happen with your team. Or, have dedicated lines of service to each department. Figure it out...

This shop is conveniently located at the base of Sunapee and is the place to go for skiers looking to get a custom fit for their boots, great selection, and amazing customer service. The owner has been so gracious with helping me with boots I purchased from a different shop that treated me quite poorly. I know I won’t go anywhere else in the future when I need more gear.
