World record holder, a definite must see for the covered bridge lover(s) There are at least 8-10 bridges within a half hour from this bridge. I was able to walk across it, wish I drove. I enjoy the thrill of being able to cross. Being able to walk across I was able to take pictures from the bridges windows and several I used the windows frame to frame the picture. Do yourself a favor, go for a ride, pack a picnic lunch to save your money for gas and go enjoy these beautiful bridges that we are so blessed to be able to view & experience.

These covered bridges are worth the visit. This one you can drive through. It was great seeing it and driving through. What a trip indeed! Nice photos with the water and all.

This bridge offers great photo opportunities. Mt Ascutney in the background, the railroad bridge to the south, and of course, the beautiful Connecticut River all around. The day we visited, we had a pair of bald eagles cruising the water. This is still a functioning thoroughfare, so walking across the bridge requires a modicum of caution. And, of course, don’t ride your horse across, unless you are prepared to pay the fine!

THIS was an AMAZING experience, used to ALWAYS go across covered bridges when I was a kid, I didn't think I'd find one that was TWO LANE! Truly mind blowing. I had a throw back moment to 'Funny Farm' when I saw the sign warning about Horse behavior or $2 dollar fine, it just hits my funny bone because I actually have a $2 bill!
