Very impressive in and out quickly, we had a trainee, she was awesome at her job. We had 3 applications two she had done before one was her first time and she handled all very promptly and professionally. We had to wear masks to get in but could remove them once in the DMV office itself.

WARNING: CLOSES AT 3:45PM. We were told this while were working out a registration and went back in at 3:47pm. We were told they are closed at 3:45 so everyone can leave at 4pm.

Can't believe I'm going to say this... I had a very pleasant experience at the Essex County DMV. I showed up a little early for my appointment and got right in with no waiting. I had already filled out all my paperwork so that helped. The workers were very helpful and answered all my questions. I wasn't rushed out or given a hard time at all. I am very pleased with the whole experience! Definitely worth the drive.
