Sorry Dad
Does ANYONE work here??? I applied for assistance in April, its not July havent heard a PEEP from these people. Cant even get a call back from my case worker. You can call one second and get someone two seconds later no one answers.
Kimberly Ebron
I called about my case for my dad and John was very helpful. He was very transparent through the entire process. He returned all my calls the same day! Melanie was also great with listening and explaining the process. Thus far my experience with the Medicaid department has been a positive one. Thank you both!!

I was dropping off papers for someone and I was told to speak to someone specifically since they don’t care if your paperwork is lost. The lady says “ not gonna happen.” Thanfully I don’t need their services directly. They should learn how to speak to people. Gross.

My solution is seldom solved in the first trip. It's always something unnecessary or extra that slows down an already slow process. It doesn't help when majority of staff have been here log enough to hate their job. My favorite and most useful piece of info is that if you have small children you can change them comfortably in the restroom because they have changing tables.

Not often. You should see an application in progress or an application professing if you submitted your application online. If you do not, I suggest you bring your documents to the office in person.
You have to go in person. Best time to go is at 1pm.

The application is in the reception near the guard desk...the burial assistance is handled by the Temporary Assistance Bureau of DSS. ..You can contact them at 518-447-7300 to be directed to the proper channels. .
Put an application for burial assistance with Temporary Assistance and one of the case managers can walk you through the application
Call your worker and they can order a replacement card to be received via mail in 7 to 10 days after the order is put in....make sure DSS has the correct address to mail the card to....

They wont be able to place you anywhere other than a shelter with no income. Try applying for housing for senior housing being that you're retired

Contact the Employment unit of DSS with your question

Maybe they no longer work with dss, or your domain, tbe part after the @ symbol is on a blackish for known spam and that's about the only rain it could get rejected. Are you using @AlbanyCountyNY.gov for the extension? If Not and they're a fairly new employee it wouldn't work if you were addressing it to just @Albanycounty.com
Submit proof of the change to your worker or benefit program you are active on.
