Visiting Angels was a blessing to my grandmother after she had her stroke and was no longer able to care for herself. Her team of caregiving Angels brought joy and meaning to her life. Her caregivers truly cared about her and even got together to throw her a surprise birthday party on their own time.

I work full time and so does my sister. We both take turns looking after our mom who now has full blown dementia. We love her, but it is so trying at times, so we decided to get some help, We saw the Visiting Angels ads on the television and my sister’s friend had Visiting Angels for her mom, with good results. We decided to try them out. They said finding that right caregiver is the key, so they sent a few caregivers for us to interview and they were right. The caregiver we selected is delightful and she keeps our mom engaged. They dance, sing, go for walks, have tea parties and sometimes go on outings. Our mom loves it, we love it too. Visiting Angels in Saint Petersburg was there for my family when we could not be there for our Aunt. I had never experienced a service like this one before. Their representative hand selected the perfect caregiver and she helped our aunt with everything from cleaning her house, helping her get to and from the store, helping her with her laundry and much more! We are so glad we found this service! Our family is greatful!

Light housekeeping is included as part of the services. However this does not replace a cleaning service.
Visitingangels offers personal care, medical assistance, housekeeping and taking the client to their appointments or running any errands for them. They try and accommodate with the clients needs. Happily I work with them as a companion, I do some medication reminding, I make sure that the client eats and take care of any personal care that the client may need. If the client needs some errands ran or needs to go to appointments I assist them with that, and I am there if they just need someone to talk to. I hope that this info helps you. Please give them a call, because there might be other things that they offer their clients that might be helpful for you. I can tell you that the company I work for is great with their clients and staff so don't hesitate give them a call.
