Have you tried LOAVES and Fishes -Queen St. The Food Bank.
9:00 am break from 12:00-1:00 for lunch, closes at 4:00, Monday-Friday. Food days are Tuesday and Thursday by appointment only same hours. This can vary slightly as there are only 4 people that work in this office.
This Salvation Army unfortunately does not have a shelter, there is however the Bethany house, the closest Army shelter is in Hagerstown and there is also one in Winchester. You can call 211 from any WEST VIRGINIA phone number and they will give you a list of other organizations that can help

Same as with other churches, it depends on the money they have left to help. Most churches have a budget for things like that. Really you just have to call and ask.
