Purchase (in March) was fine, we were told the furniture would be 6-8 months...we paid in advance and told them Sept 1 delivery was great as we would not back in town until August. Fast forward to April, when we were told the furniture would be delivered the next week. Since we were in Mississippi, that wasn't going to work. Spent a half hour on the phone arranging to have the furniture delivery changed back to the ORIGINAL Sept 1 delivery date. A month later, same thing (we were in Utah this time), spent over an hour getting the delivery changed BACK TO THE ORIGINAL SEPT 1 DELIVERY DATE. Two days ago received an e-mail that the furniture will be delivered on Aug 22...we won't be there. Called customer service... JR, the service rep, said he would reschedule BACK TO THE SEPT 1 DELIVERY DATE and call us back to verify it. He has still never called. Tried to call the Lakeland store directly and the call went directly to the customer service line. After an hour on hold waiting to talk to a person, I asked the rep to connect me to management team at the Lakeland store and was promptly connected to A PIZZA SHOP! HUH!! Any chance I can get what I paid for five months ago delivered on the date we agreed upon?

I was trying to avoid a negative review, however, Ashley has given me no other choice. We ordered a whole new living room (two sofas, a wedge, two end tables, and a coffee table). We were told that the tables were on back order and wouldn't be available until February (due to Covid). The couches came in January as promised, unfortunately, one of the arms fell completely off before making it into the house, they replaced it without issue. Our salesman told us that we wouldn't pay for anything until ALL of our furniture was delivered (we got 0% for 5 years) he even made a point to repeat this statement especially since we wouldn't be getting the tables until February. That was a lie (just a salesman trying to sell) we did have to start paying for the couches mid January (reasonable considering we had the couches and the tables were not yet on the account), however when I tried to contact him he refused to respond to texts or calls. Fast forward to April (no calls at all), we went into Ashley and were told that the tables were scheduled to come in and be delivered in May. Fast forward to the end of June, (again, no communication from Ashley) We went in again, and were told that our order had been canceled because it had been over 6 months and the manager stated that communication is not their strong point. Now, we are patient, reasonable people, (I mean we waited two months after our tables were supposedly coming in to ask, not complain just ask) a phone call should have been made!!! The manager then proceeded to tell us that those same tables had just been ordered 2 days before by a different customer and scheduled for delivery the next day. Now I must mention that I told the manager that the tables are now cheaper than they were in December and I would like the difference, he said no problem. The tables came on July 3rd and two were damaged and they added the tables on our account without delivery!! I must also mention that we paid for one of the tables and put $577 on our credit card toward the purchase of these tables (in other words, they've had our money since December). I requested an immediate reschedule for the two tables as well as a manager or someone to call me. I was given two different case numbers but NEVER a call by anyone to discuss the HORRIBLE customer service. I actually had to sign up for another delivery day myself (by email). The tables are scheduled to come in tomorrow, I am NOT holding my breath. We are in the process of building a house and will need more furniture which we had planned on buying from Ashley but they don't want our business, so we will be going elsewhere. Since I felt that someone will see this review, maybe, just maybe we will get someone's attention.

Never buying furniture from here again. I’ve always purchased from Badcock furniture but decided to see what Ashley furniture had. My salesman was Tim. He was awesome. Got my couch dining room table and chairs ordered. Get home as noticed my couch armrest needed to be switched. Called the store and they told me they would let Tim know. Came time for delivery day and all my furniture wasn’t in warehouse so I decided to wait until it was all there. Was told if I cancel delivery for my furniture I would have to pick up or they could sell what I purchased. Get to the wear house and get furniture loaded. Tipped the guy that helped load it. Get home and notice the couch was the original configuration I ordered and called the warehouse right away before even bringing it into the house. Was told a case was open and they would set new couch for delivery and credit for my troubles. Day of delivery for the right configuration the truck shows up to pick up and not drop off. I had the delivery driver get boss on phone. They opened another case. Told them they weren’t taking my couch on Mother’s Day weekend and leaving me with nothing. Mind you the tags are still on the couch. They put my couch back together and left. Went back to wear house couple days later for my table. Open it up and the corners are chipped and bubbled up. Now had to call for a case for this. Today I get a call because I’m scheduled for the right parts for couch drop off. They call and say they are on the way but only to pick up my couch once again. Again I say no your not taking my couch please stop by the wear house and bring me my couch and do an even swap. Dispatch calls me and tells me they are canceling my pick up all together so now another case is open and waiting for a new delivery day. I repeat will never deal with them again. Oh and no one ever tried to give me a credit or anything to make things better like I was told would happen. I went to the store to get everything right again and was told by Tim that wear house deals with credit. Still haven’t heard anything. Poor customer service for sure.

Worst experience ever. I have spent in the past two years about $5,000 with this company. My whole living room set is Ashley, my bed is Ashley and my daughters bed is Ashley. All three sets have broken in some way or another because how cheaply built everything is. The fabric under my couch cushions has ripped from the frame. Their warranty rep kept trying to twist my words into things I didn't say then said only outer cosmetics were covered. With that fabric breaking the cushions go straight to the floor. She said she thinks it's a manufacturer defect but proceedes to give me the info for a company I can have fix it. After I paid 3k for it. Check your warranty and if you can avoid Ashley at all cost. Very bad rep, didn't listen didn't resolve my issue and furniture is legit small pieces of wood barely put together and no matter what warranty you have it will be denied. So mad I wasted my money buying THREE room sets from them.

I have had good experience with them. I guess it depends on luck. but my son and I both found something we loved there. and we tried rooms to go first but didn't see anything we really loved! I'm not in a hurry to get the furniture so I can wait if that's the case. sorry you've had bad experience with them. Did you report it to better business bureau?? they really helped me with another retailer.
Good luck getting them on the phone. You have to go onto the store and hope they are available. Good luck
Ashley does not sell Lazy Boy they have their own in-house brand. Google Lazy Boy VS Ashley recliners there's a lot of information about that quality- price difference but I can sum it up for you cuz I did the research before the lazy boy is a little more money a little better quality much higher ratings The Ashley is less expensive not as good you get what you pay for. Lazy Boy is in the process of opening their own brand name furniture stores so you may look for one of those near you.
I dont see why not
Thats unfortunate, my furniture was delivered on time and in excellent condition. The delivery person was very professional. He ensured I was happy with the furniture before leaving
