I am currently looking for somewhere to place my father who lives with me and my family. Unfortunately, my father’s health has diminished and we cannot provide the around the clock care that he needs. I live in Haines City and need somewhere close to my home so that I can visit frequently and when convenient with my work schedule. I have only heard good things about this place but because of the reviews, I decided to visit myself. Yes, the building is old but once you get inside, it’s nice and clean. There was no odors and quiet. The residents that were sitting out seemed very happy. The staff was very welcoming and answered all my questions. When I am ready, this nursing home will definitely be on the top of my list.

I Am laying here right now having to go to the toilet and can't get up because of surgery and had. My lite on over an hour. I believe the owner of this facility and his wife should have to be here bed ridden and poor like me and be treated like I have been. I gave the customer service department 1 star, but the physical therapy here at the Crossroads is wonderful so Eric and Faith get 5 stars from me and Grace Hardy the director of intake gets 5 stars from me. In fact is it wasn't for her bringing me the bed pan, I would have peed the bed more than 3 times. She is a wonderful person all the way through.

This is a highly rated center by CMS. The Administrator and Director of Nursing are hands on. They consistently make themselves available to residents, family and staff. The center is well kept and clean. Staff are very caring and compassionate. It is a smaller center so staff really get to know the residents personally. The employees work for the center. there are no agency staff. This is important as centers that use agency staff have serious staffing issues.

The rating I give on Crossroad is a 0. The reason for this is based on the fact. From the entrance of the facility I was not greeted on a friendly manner. The main entrance to the facility is hidden, so you would not know where it is. Once you enter the facility the smell of cigarettes is in the air. Which is not healthy. Anyone can enter the facility and the staff will not be aware. The staff and the administration official are not people relationship. The facility is out dated and the atmosphere is very dark. I've have noticed that some of the staff workers has brushed off some of the patients away. The bedroom are not up to date on equipment. You would have to wait a very long time for a response for new patient. The staff and the head administration need proper training on how to talk to New comers. On a overview stand point Crossroad needs a major upgrade on the facility as well as the entire staff. The look of Crossroad looks like a mental health institution. If the facility can not be improved, then it should be shut down. The only reason why it's probably still open is for the medical insurance and not for the love of helping sick people.

Her name is Tammy
I'm not really for sure. Call them and ask for Frita. She is the admissions person there.
I can tell you not to take your loved ones to this center. I start by noting that there is no special care for patients. Nurses mistreat patients and when they know they are going to visit, family members modify in the kitchen so that the food arrives early. Do not take them if you want to have them stable.the cross roads is not good .
