Peaceful Thursday afternoon walking the garden. The park has a nice combination of sun & shade and the views are awesome. Definitely a place to check out the sunset. Will have to come back for that. I really enjoyed sitting in the bird habitat area. Saw butterflies, birds, hummingbirds, & rabbits. The only important issue is the restroom situation. The restroom at the parking lot by the Kid's Adventure Garden is only opened if the group picnic area is in use. Not happy that I had to walk to the community center at the adjacent park. I did see a porta potty inside the gardens but who wants to use that in 80 degree weather.

Conjeo Valley Botanic Garden is a nice place to visit in Simi Valley. There are a few short trails and different smaller gardens within, and plenty of plants and vibrant trees to see. I visited in Fall when some of the leaves were changing which were nice, but I'm sure Spring is amazing in the gardens.

I loved visiting here. It seems to be run by volunteers and donations, and that is amazing. Many plants are labled for easy identification. There are several areas designated to specific plant types. All in all an interesting visit. The hike and subsequent view is marvelous also.

It is awesome short walk, hike...Trail is 3/4 mile long, nothing strenuous. If you take the trail, you can see and walk along the Creek. > Mossy Dripping Point. In the Garden there are beautiful flowers, Orchard Garden, and plants. (2021 Sept: due to lack of rain, the area is pretty dry). You still can enjoy it. On an old acorn tree there were many birds. You can hear them singing.

Yes with a leash
Yes
Eventually you can but but the trails are bumpy (in my opinion). Also short. I hope this helps to make a decision.
Yes they are, you just need a mask
It is a very informal garden, meaning you just walk into it with no one helping you at the entrance. So I would assume so 🙂
Everything is maintained, naturally. There are no pesticides. The air there is actually pretty fresh.
I am sure you can to a limited capacity
No,it's free to the public. There's a coyote pack in the open space so if you bring small dogs, leash them
If you enjoy a natural environment (vs a contrived garden), it would be lovely. The giant oak trees are breath-taking. Also, due to the natural environment, you'll need to wear trail shoes. Wishing you all happiness.
