The information available to the public was enormous. SO much to learn there of this land we're on and it's local native inhabitants that had our earth under control for centuries.

Small and limited hours. Best if you want a short educational outing. Nice shady walking trail. Staff was nice too. Worth seeing but not much wow factor.

Wonderful small museum. Nice building with informative exhibits created with actual artifacts used in daily life by prehistoric Chumash people. They have a friendly and knowledgeable staff. The museum hosts a number of excellent events and workshops. They also have a nice, accessible trail through the oak forest on their property and an outside area demonstrating ancient Chumash housing and village life. Around the museum there are native plant gardens with all the plants clearly labeled which would be a great resource for those who are changing their landscaping to be more drought-tolerant.

Awesome museum. Wish the tours would resume. Even has a modern day pictograph panel of what they believe it looks like.
