Ordered guac but never go it (despit asking twice), yet was charged $12 for it. Our waitress rarely checked in and when she did she had difficulty communicating. Asked for simply hard shell tacos with steak (nothing else) but were told all tacos are pre-made and we couldn't order that that. Margaritas was mediocre at best, served in a sloppy glass with garnish running down the side. Waitress rarely checked in and was hard to find. Food was average to good. Not recommended.

I searched high and low all over Newport looking for great nachos. I found them at this location! Good location near the beach. Parking and crowd not an issue on a Sunday evening. The key to these nachos: Wet pinto beans about half way down the pile of homemade chips, and fajita style veggies on top. No cheap jar jalapeños either. Lots of cheese and carne asada. I almost polished them off, but I ate too many of their warm chips and salsa....which was also awesome....nice crunch and flavor. Wife had the cheese quesadilla which she likes. Service was good. Atmosphere was nothing super special, but they do have open windows which is a nice touch being near the beach. This was a very affordable place I will visit again if back in Newport. Have the nachos....they were GREAT!

Drinks were ok, tacos & tostado was pretty basic tasting without a lot of flavour. Server didn’t comp anything when the kitchen lost our check. $165 for lunch for 3 people, California for u I guess, meh.

The food was fine. If you are looking for a fun atmosphere, plenty of inside and outside seating, and friendly service, then this is a great place. If you are looking for more authentic mexican food, there are better choices. We had enchiladas, chile relleno, blackened mahi tacos, chicken fajitas, and the Fresco burrito with carne asada. All of it was decent except for the chile relleno, which was too heavily breaded and the flavor was off. The best was the carne asada burrito. Our server was very helpful.

Im not sure you should call to find out. I would like to think that as long as your pet is human friendly they should be fine with it since they do tend to be really crowded outside especially on hot days!😁
