What an amazing team.....and such expansive knowledge of many different wellness modalities! Ascent has the latest health and wellness technology so you can achieve optimal health. The CVAC Pod has helped me increase my endurance and helps me with recovery after workouts. I'm 58 and I push myself pretty hard, so it's awesome to have products like the CVAC Pod and Lightstim to help me recover and optimize my natural body healing mechanisms! Recently, I had a pretty bad hamstring pull.... using the BEMER mat (PEMF Therapy), LightStim and CVAC, cut my recovery time in half! People tell me I look younger too....haha...not my goal, but I'll take it. Great equipment doesn't mean much without a great team to advise their clients...The Ascent Team I give an A+++++++++++++

The LightStim helps my skin so much! I feel so good for days after one treatment. I love it so much that I have referred some friends who also received more energy and better quality sleep. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I love this place and it’s now become an important part of self care and recovery from daily exercise. Everyone has to try this place out.

As a 63 year old martial artist I am doing everything I can to stay in shape and continue to be competitive in my 35+ (!) age group. While preparing for my Black Belt test I noticed an article in Men's Health that covered Ascent and the CVAC technology; it looked promising so I decided to give it a try. Over a year later I continue to use the technology at Ascent two times per week. The benefits have been huge, especially in the areas of cardio conditioning and rapid recovery from intense activity. I also notice better sleep and a more even state of mind--they do not claim this but I notice it nonetheless. Also Heather and Kristen (the people you work with at Ascent) are incredible and go out of their way to make the training comfortable and convenient. I recommend Ascent to anyone who wants to improve their conditioning for any reason.

How long has Ascent been in business for?

In business since 2010… Long before terms like “Biohacking” were in the dictionary- we began carving out our path through this unrecognized ideology. Our concept stemmed from the personal struggles and health needs of our founder, Heather Hiniker. After reversing her own debilitating auto-immune diagnosis, it was through Heather’s experience and revelations that she found her higher purpose.

WHAT ARE THE PRIMARY DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE CVAC POD AND A HYPERBARIC CHAMBER?

The primary difference between the CVAC Pod and a Hyperbaric Chamber lies within the use of low and high pressure. Hyperbaric chambers provide high-pressure environments to flood the body with oxygen. In theory by flooding the body with oxygen, one finds that the body may become somewhat reliant on this process, forcing it to become lazy and increase the inability to properly utilize oxygen in all of its mechanisms. On the other hand, the CVAC Pod utilizes a low-pressure (vacuum) environment to rhythmically and dynamically vary the density of air, stimulating the body’s natural adaptation response. Using composed proprietary patterned sequences; pressure is increased and decreased. These changes in pressure set up waves of tension and relaxation that act in concert with the pulsatile nature of breathing, muscle contraction and blood flow that occur during exercise. By momentarily depleting the body of oxygen, the body begins to adapt and become conditioned to utilize the oxygen more efficiently; hence our mechanisms and all their moving parts start to improve. Not only is CVAC taking pressure away and then reintroducing it into the atmosphere but it is also changing the temperature and the density of air. This all works synergistically to create what we understand to be the CVAC process.
