We really like taking this Ferry! We ride it just for fun! It’s expensive and you can get out of your vehicle during the ride. You can also walk or have bicycle on the ferry. It’s a family tradition for us to come when we get a new car. We enjoyed the ride

Cool place. Family friendly and lots to do. Arcade is a little overpriced for my taste.

Balboa island ferry is a fun ride for all the family members, kids or grownups enjoy it, the staff are super friendly and helpful, the ride only takes about couple of minutes but it is very enjoyable, it costs around a dollar and a half to go one way, maybe more for a car, it can take up to 3 cars and about 10 to 15 passengers, it is always available and the view is outstanding when you are in the middle of the water with all the boats around you, highly recommended to go to the other side of the island with the ferry, worth the wait

Fantastic and quaint. Be mindful that this is cash only and the signs do say it, albeit pretty small. This ferry provides a nice scenic trip across the water both ways for vehicles and pedestrians. We have taken it multiple times now since discovering it.

Yes, and they're free.
$ 1 for the car and $ 1 for each adult. Kids cost fifty cents
$1.00 adults $.50 children

I think $1.25 per person can't remember but it's worth the time
Scooters and Motorcycles may pull up to the crosswalk area and board the ferry ahead of the cars. But they will be asked to pull to the side next to the smoke stack so that three cars may still board. The Deckhand will instruct you. If you choose to not pull to the side you will have to stay in the regular line with the cars and then board our Ferry. I hope this answers your question.
Yes. Single limo

Goooood question!! Over 8000 lbs prohibited...
The Balboa Island Ferry offers a continuous transportation service between Balboa Island and the Balboa Peninsula (approximately 1/5 of a mile) from 6:30 a.m. and midnight, at 2:00 a.m. on weekends and during the summer.
No hotels on the island as far as I know. There are on the peninsula
Close to midnight
Pay cash when you get on
Yes of course but there will be hours of operation posted
You can park in the pier parking lot or the lot near the ferry entrance
You drive up and someone will come to your window upon loading onto the ferry for ticket purchase.
No, but if you're willing to pay an insane amount anything is possible
