The standard of the pelvic therapists here is so low! I started with one professional that for two sessions only worked on the left side of my body/hip. In the second session she said she was sure she had worked on the other side in the previous week. She only assessed my side that was not next to the wall?! Like she couldn't get to the other side of the table or stand up? So weird. Then I switched to a second therapist, which would only see me for 10-17 minutes tops. She was more knowledgeable, but didn't seem to want me there. This week she spent 12 minutes with me and taught me an exercise I already had in my profile. So... A waist of money and my time. I did PT at In Motion OC and the difference is crystal clear. I guess you get what you pay for. At In Motion OC you get full 60 minutes for around $60. Here you get 12 minutes for $20, and the professionals don't even read your file before session. Horrible. Go to a private practice, even if insurance doesn't cover. If there's a lot you can do from home, just go with private option.
